At Riverbank School, the festive season is one of our most cherished times of year. It’s a time filled with joy, community spirit, and the perfect opportunity to teach our children the importance of
giving back. This year, we carried forward one of our beloved traditions by representing Timeout at The Halifax Minster—a partnership that has become a highlight in our annual calendar.

Decorating the Christmas Tree
With a tree purchased by Timeout, our children and staff came together to adorn it with beautiful decorations, filling the Minster with festive cheer.
This festive activity isn’t just about decorating a tree—it’s about fostering joy, teamwork, and a sense of community. The children look forward to this event every year, not just because of the fun it brings, but also because they take pride in contributing to a beautiful, shared space within our town.

Supporting Our Community
Our relationship with The Halifax Minster is a reflection of our values at Riverbank School. We strive to instil in our pupils the importance of community involvement and the joy that comes with supporting others. By participating in this wonderful event, we help strengthen our ties with the local community while providing our children with cherished memories.
We are committed to continuing this partnership and supporting The Minster in any way we can. Whether it’s creating an atmosphere of festive joy at Christmas or other outreach initiatives throughout the school year, we are proud to play a small role in uplifting the community around us.
A Thank You to Our Families and Supporters
Of course, none of this would be possible without our incredible families, educators, and the ongoing support of Timeout and the community. Your encouragement means the world to us and allows our children to shine in activities like this one.
We hope our efforts at The Halifax Minster bring a smile to everyone who visits this Christmas season. Together, we’re creating a brighter tomorrow—one bauble at a time!

Wishing You a Magical Christmas
From all of us at Riverbank School, we wish you a merry Christmas and a joyful new year. Thank you for being part of our story and for continuing to inspire us to uphold the values of kindness, creativity, and a strong community spirit.
